Calling on an invitation, I sat with the Sun.
We met at our spot, with much to share.
Once in a while, the wind would speak,
But only when passing by.
We spoke not of yesterdays, or tomorrows;
Only the moment.
A vacation from Autumn's shift.
Drawn to a close only by dusk,
And the encroaching Winter.
With the Sun, and not a word spoken;
On a warm day, at November's end.
